The annual Friends of Reay Winter Fair was a spectacular success, raising an impressive £2,564.04 to support school initiatives and activities. Held on Friday 6th December, the event transformed the school into a festive wonderland brimming with holiday spirit, fun, and community collaboration.
The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly Santa’s Grotto, where excited children met Santa himself and received small gifts to kick off the Christmas season. Families enjoyed a variety of engaging activities, including:
- Biscuit decorating, bauble and wreath, where creativity flourished.
- A bustling cake stall offering delicious homemade treats.
- An assortment of food stalls serving everything from hot dogs to jerk chicken.
- Games and activities, perfect for all ages, kept the energy high.
- A vibrant toy stall and book stall, full of treasures for bargain hunters.
- Body art, with temporary tattoos, added a splash of colour to the evening.
- The popular raffle and tombola, featuring fantastic prizes, drew eager participation from attendees.
The event was made possible thanks to the incredible efforts of teachers and parents, who worked tirelessly to bring the fair to life.
The school extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, contributed, and volunteered.
Stay tuned for updates on how the funds will be used to benefit our children.
