what we do

Our Achievements

Friends of Reay (FoR) have helped fund school equipment and helped subsidise school trips.

We have raised money for the Junior Hall stage, contributed to play equipment in the infant playground and contributed to the refurbishment of the school library. Here are a few more recent examples:

School treehouse

We have funded the build of the nature garden treehouse which offers an exciting outdoor space for the children’s imaginations to run wild.

School garden beehive

We have donated funds towards the school garden beehive, by learning about honeybees and other pollinators, children can understand the importance of a healthy food supply and begin developing skills necessary to act as stewards of the environment.

Annual cinema trip
for all pupils

We pay for every child in the school to go to the cinema to watch a family friendly film with their class.

The annual cinema trip is a great opportunity for children to have a trip outside of school.

Community and culture

Friends of Reay (FoR) support the school in building a strong positive culture. Communicating and working together we are reinforcing the schools values and beliefs.
