Reay Primary school brought the community together for a successful summer fair on Saturday 13 July.
The Friends of Reay charity can confirm an amazing £5180 was raised (including donations from business sponsorship and individuals).
The rain stayed away and many of you attended for our first Saturday fair in a very long time!
The fair featured an inflatable slide, bracelet making, an amazing crochet table where people could learn how to crochet and buy pre-made items. We had a toy and book stall, cakes and henna tattoos, uniform stall and tarot reading. Games included hook a duck, nerf gun splat and football shootout. Food offerings included jerk chicken, barbecue, hotdogs, candy floss and popcorn.
The highlight of the event for many children was a visit from the Brixton Station Fire Brigade.
